China criticized NBC Common for exhibiting an “incomplete map” of the nation in its broadcast of the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony after a map displayed throughout the arrival of Chinese language athletes confirmed neither Taiwan nor the South China Sea.
The Chinese language Consulate in New York mentioned in a publish on its official Weibo social media platform on Saturday that the advert “offends the dignity and feelings of the Chinese language folks.”
NBC Common, the guardian firm of NBC Information, which owns the US broadcast rights to the Olympic Video games, had not commented on the time of publication.
